ANICO Conversion Services Agreement
UCT and ANICO Conversion Services Agreement
Dallas, TX - American National Insurance Company (ANICO) andUniversal Conversion Technologies (UCT) announced an agreement whereby UCT willprovide conversion assistance for ANICO to convert some 2.7 million policy records from four different legacy sources to two target administration systems. UCT will provide this service under a fixed-price and guaranteed delivery schedule, an industry exception.
Chuck Addison, CIO of ANICO, stated that UCT's stellar track record of delivering ahead of schedule and their willingness to assure cost certainly separated UCT from all oftheir other options.
Jerry Kaul, UCT's Sales and Marketing Executive, stated that ANICO's knowledge, cooperation, and support during the due diligence phase of the proposal made it possible to cost the engagement so that both parties ended up with precisely the terms they wanted.
The conversions will be staged in phases and will ultimately result in sunsetting numerous ANICO legacy systems.
